Q: What kind of content do you publish?

Anticipating, understanding and investing in these technologies is the #1 way of improving your life and increasing your wealth.

Helping you do this is our sole aim at Exponential Investor.

So much of the financial world is dedicated to helping you protect your wealth and defend against risks – to understand where interest rates will go next, what threat the national debt poses and the like. And rightly so. That’s important stuff.

But it completely ignores the other side of the story: that no matter how bad things might seem, the right combination of technology, people and capital can overcome any grand challenge and make the world a better place to live in.

Our topics go from investing in technology, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, robotics and energy to blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

In our team you will find insights from Charlie Morris, Akhil Patel, Sam Volkering, Eoin Treacy, Nick Hubble, Bill Bonner, Boaz Shoshan, Nick O’Connor and Dan Denning, among others.

Q: What is the Crypto Revolution

The crypto revolution is an expression used to describe the disruption that cryptocurrencies are causing in the financial world. These decentralised digital assets are gaining popularity among investors globally and becoming mainstream, to the point that some authors are calling them the future of money.

Since the release of bitcoin in 2009, plenty of other cryptos have been launched using the decentralised blockchain technology. Some of them are a form of virtual currency to be used as a payment method, like bitcoin – which is replacing gold as a safe haven for wealth storage, despite its volatility – but their forms and uses vary vastly. For instance, Monero grants absolute anonymity, Ethereum allows establishing smart contracts, Ripple settles quick payments, and so on.

Central banks and government representatives have stated that cryptocurrencies are in direct competition with fiat currency, and that if they are massively adopted, will be a threat to planned monetary policy and the efforts for controlling the money supply.

Financial adviser and crypto fanatic Sam Volkering explains the crypto revolution in further detail in his book Crypto Revolution: Bitcoin, Cryptocurrencies and the Future of Money.
